Matthew Dorso and Noah Lunning provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Foley. The connection went for 66 yards, the longest such play in Granite Ridge this season.
Milaca was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in the league. The Wolves vanquished Albany 14-13 earlier in the week.
Zimmerman's dynamic duo of Dorso and Lunning proved to be unstoppable against the Falcons, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dorso threw for 83 yards and Lunning had 83 yards receiving.

Olmsheid was the most successful running back in Granite Ridge this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 136 yards as Albany fell to Foley. Teammate Nick Mergen added to the ground attack by rushing for 39 yards.

The Thunder's Dorso and Lunning have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dorso has thrown for 318 yards this season, while Lunning, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 10 catches for 162 yards. Mike Kleinschmidt's team's Kyle Birr leads the league in rushing yards with 223.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when St. Cloud Cathedral takes on Foley. The Crusaders are in third place, while the Falcons are in first place.
Little Falls scaled the state rankings by moving to 145 from 196 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Flyers climbed the ranks as a result of topping St. Cloud Cathedral 46-7.
