Baseball Recap: Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since March 3rd on Friday. They came up short against the Union Grove Wolverines, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 last Wednesday.

Eagle's Landing Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jelean Masferrer, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Masferrer has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Union Grove, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.
