The Mayo Spartans fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back  wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a  28-21  victory over St. Michael-Albertville  on Friday.
 St. Michael-Albertville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was   Ryan Kaydea, who rushed for 86 yards and  a touchdown.
 Mayo's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for St. Michael-Albertville, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
 Mayo will take on Stillwater at TBD on Friday. Stillwater is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. St. Michael-Albertville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
