The Rancho San Juan Trailblazers won the last time they faced the Carmel Padres, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Rancho San Juan walked away with a 54-45 victory over the Padres.
Despite the loss, Carmel still got an impressive performance from Myah Koster, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Koster scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe LeMaster, who scored eight points along with three steals.
The win got Rancho San Juan back to even at 10-10. As for Carmel, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Rancho San Juan will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carmel, they will head out on the road to challenge the Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Soledad's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Padres have been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
