The Livingston Wolves were the 45-32 winner over the Ceres Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Livingston took a 28-22 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ceres.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adriana Cervantes Molina, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Lara, who scored four points along with four steals.
Ceres found their leader in underclassman Arrayah Stallworth, who scored ten points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Stallworth has scored at least 25% of Ceres' points. Another player making a difference was Hailey Tsurui, who scored six points.
Livingston has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Ceres, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Livingston and Merced will face off at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
