The Tulelake Honkers will head out on the road to face off against the Crosspoint Christian Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crosspoint Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Tulelake, who comes in off a win.
Tulelake's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Dunsmuir as Tulelake made off with a 57-31 victory. That 57-31 margin sets a new team best for Tulelake this season.
Tulelake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maritza Chavolla, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Frey, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Crosspoint Christian was beaten by North Douglas 57-24 on Tuesday. Crosspoint Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tulelake's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Crosspoint Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
