The Los Angeles CES Unicorns can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They breezed by University on the road to the tune of 66-21. This was a revenge game for Los Angeles CES, as the team was forced to settle for a 50-45 loss when these two played two weeks ago.
Los Angeles CES's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Katie Chiba led the charge by scoring 13 points along with five assists and five steals. Chiba is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mila Sano, who scored 17 points.
Los Angeles CES's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for University, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Los Angeles CES will take on the Gondoliers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
