After a string of five wins, the Shasta Wolves's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They suffered a tough 69-43 loss at the hands of Foothill. Shasta has struggled against Foothill recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Shasta's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Joriana Gibbens-egolf, who scored 17 points, and Bria Tate who scored ten points along with five steals. Tate hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games.
Shasta's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Foothill, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.
Shasta will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Pleasant Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Foothill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against West Valley at 5:00 p.m. on January 13th. West Valley is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
