After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stella High Charter Academy, Middle College was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Alliance Health Services Academy Wolves a 20-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Middle College's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Alliance Health Services Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Middle College will challenge rival WISH Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Alliance Health Services Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Animo Venice at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
