The Coudersport Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 24 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 51-10 blowout they got on the road against Galeton. That 51-10 margin sets a new team best for Coudersport this season.
When it comes to explaining why Galeton lost on Thursday, one person who can't be blamed is Addison Reigle. Despite the final result, she scored six points. Reigle scored a full 60% of Galeton's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win (which was Coudersport's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3. As for Galeton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Coudersport will be playing at home against Otto-Eldred at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Otto-Eldred is ranked 344th, while Coudersport is ranked 337th). As for Galeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Port Allegany at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Port Allegany focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 last Friday.
