Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Silver Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sydney Trotter, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Trotter continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Serwaah Sarpong, who scored 17 points.
Victor Valley Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.3 points per game. As for Silver Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
Victor Valley Christian will take on Lucerne Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lucerne Valley's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Victor Valley Christian's offense will have their work cut out for Victor Valley Christian. As for Silver Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Excelsior Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
