The University Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Pacifica Christian Tritons at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
University was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Beverly Hills on Wednesday. University's pitchers stepped up to hand Beverly Hills a 16-0 shutout.

On the hitting side, University got a massive performance out of Jameson LoBianco, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. What's more, LoBianco posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Shawn Ho was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Pacifica Christian had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Sage Hill by a score of 4-1 on Friday. The Tritons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Keegan DeMots tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Jude Dravecky was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Scout Escobedo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Pacifica Christian's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for University, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Pacifica Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: University has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. It's a different story for Pacifica Christian, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain University's hitters?
University skirted past Pacifica Christian 5-3 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for University since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
