Campbell Hall got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cristina Sepulveda out in front who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zion Belcher-Arill, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds.
Campbell Hall's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14. As for Los Angeles CES, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbell Hall will square off against St. Mary's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Mary's Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Campbell Hall in California (St. Mary's Academy is ranked 79th, while Campbell Hall is ranked 483rd). As for Los Angeles CES, they will head out on the road to take on Fairfax at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairfax is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
