Pitman has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Rocklin Thunder at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Pitman has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 53-25 victory over Edison on the road.
Pitman's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Dailynn Greener, who scored 11 points along with 8 steals and 5 assists, and Elizabeth Webb, who scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Webb has scored at least 25% of Pitman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Wu, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Rocklin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They slipped by Kennedy 62-61. Given Rocklin's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Kennedy is ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
