Durham has gone 8-2 against Hamilton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Braves at 4:00 p.m. Durham will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
While Durham's victory against Willows wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Honkers 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Trojans have posted since March 10th.

Dylan Rabo was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Tommy Mello was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hamilton). Everything went their way against Portola on Friday as they made off with a 23-3 win. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.
Antonio Jauregui made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Hamilton got a massive performance out of Kayden Strong, who scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Strong continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Daniel Leal, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Hamilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive contests.
Durham's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.
Durham took their victory against Hamilton in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 14-1 score. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
