The Workman Lobos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 39-20 to Azusa. Workman has struggled against the Aztecs recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Evelin Villalva, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Tanisha Rentereia, who scored six points along with seven rebounds.
Workman dropped their record down to 3-23 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Azusa, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15.
Workman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Azusa also has no future games currently scheduled.
