West Allegheny ended up on the wrong side of a tough 68-45 walloping at the hands of Lincoln Park Performing Arts. West Allegheny has struggled against Lincoln Park Performing Arts recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Lincoln Park Performing Arts to victory were Jla Kizart and Maddie Syka. Kizart scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Syka scored 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The match was Kizart's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Abbi Jannuzi, who scored 13 points along with five assists.
West Allegheny's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lincoln Park Performing Arts, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
West Allegheny will be playing in front of their home fans against Montour at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Lincoln Park Performing Arts will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Wilmington at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th. Wilmington is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
