The Fresno Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 53-47 W over Washington Union. The win was some much needed relief for Fresno Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Fresno Christian was led to victory by Marisol Martinez and Devyn Wilkinson. Martinez scored 19 points, while Wilkinson scored 15 points along with nine assists and three steals. That's the first time this season that Wilkinson posted eight or more assists.
Fresno Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Washington Union, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Fresno Christian will take on Liberty at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Washington Union, they will head out on the road to face off against Kingsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
