The Morse Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Christian Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Morse, who comes in off a win.
You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Morse's strategy against the Sundevils on Saturday. Morse strolled past the Sundevils with points to spare, taking the game 62-47. Given Morse's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Sundevils are ranked 869th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Christian lost to the Falcons at home by a decisive 51-34 margin on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Christian in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.
Morse has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Morse against the Patriots in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 55-26 victory. Does Morse have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
