After two games on the road, Orcutt Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Nipomo Titans at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Orcutt Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Nipomo in California (Orcutt Academy is ranked 287th, while Nipomo is ranked 961st).
 On Saturday, Orcutt Academy was able to grind out a solid  victory over Sierra, taking the game  56-47.
 Orcutt Academy found their leader in underclassman  Elizabeth Johnson, who  dropped  a double-double on 35 points and 14  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Johnson has scored all season.  Ashley Barrientos was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with six  steals and five  assists.
 Meanwhile, Nipomo's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their ninth straight loss. They took a serious blow against St. Joseph, falling  112-10. Nipomo has struggled against St. Joseph recently, as their  matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
 The  win  got Orcutt Academy back to even at 10-10. As for Nipomo, they bumped their record down to 3-17 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Orcutt Academy strolled past Nipomo in their previous meeting  back in February of 2023 by a score of  78-60. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Nipomo's  Makennah Simonson, who  scored 28 points.
