Palmdale is 2-8 against Eastside since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Palmdale Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Eastside Lions at 5:00 p.m. Palmdale is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Palmdale posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 40-16 margin over Littlerock. The victory was just what Palmdale needed coming off of a 60-18 loss in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Eastside entered their tilt with Quartz Hill with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. Eastside took their contest on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 74-39 victory over Quartz Hill. Eastside has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.
Palmdale's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Eastside, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
Palmdale took a serious blow against Eastside in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 102-16. Can Palmdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
