The Platte Valley Broncos's 17-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were the victim of a rough 56-34 defeat at the hands of Legacy on Friday. Platte Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Broncos players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lauryn Uyemura, who scored 13 points. Alyssa Salazar was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Platte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Legacy, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Platte Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lutheran at 10:00 a.m. on December 9th. As for Legacy, they will face off against Ralston Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
