Tri-Center extended their losing streak  to three  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 4-12 in the process. They were a single  run away from ending the streak, but they lost  an   11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jefferson Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the  13-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in June of 2024.
As for Jefferson,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win they have posted  since June 5th.
 For Jefferson's part, they let  Rylee Perrine and  Teygan Rasmussen run wild. Perrine  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base, while  Rasmussen  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Cierra Wieland, who  got on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
