El Dorado's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Argonaut by a score of 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Not much got past Jackson Miller, who gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks to keep Argonaut off the board. Miller has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, JJ Allen was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rosemont, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Galt on Thursday as Rosemont made off with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Gavin Terry made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI. Rosemont is 4-2 when Terry posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-2-1 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on James Lara, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game. Patrick Gorman also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
Rosemont was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
El Dorado now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Rosemont, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.
Everything went El Dorado's way against Rosemont in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as El Dorado made off with a 17-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for El Dorado since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
