While Lovejoy put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Banneker. The Wildcats claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Trojans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Trojans are ranked 341st).

Lovejoy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.8 points over those games. As for Banneker, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lovejoy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Newnan at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Banneker, they will face off against McIntosh at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
