The San Carlos Braves waltzed into their contest on Saturday with five straight wins but they left with six. They came out on top against Miami by a score of 69-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Miami lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tamia Pietila, who scored 20 points along with five steals. Pietila hasn't dropped below three steals for 21 straight games. Savannah Pietila was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six steals.
San Carlos' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-3. As for Miami, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-5.
San Carlos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Miami also has no future games currently scheduled.
