Howard is 2-8 against Wilde Lake since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Howard Lions will face off against the Wilde Lake Wildecats at TBD. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Wednesday, Howard didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Atholton, but they still walked away with a 61-56 win.
Meanwhile, Wilde Lake's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell 66-59 to Atholton.
Howard has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Wilde Lake, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12.
Howard came out on top in a nail-biter against Wilde Lake when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 65-63. Does Howard have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wilde Lake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
