The Tracy Bulldogs will face off against the St. Francis Troubadours at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tracy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
With a playoff game on the line, Tracy rose to the challenge on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats a 1-0 shutout.
Meanwhile, St. Francis scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over Mountain House. Considering St. Francis has won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Their offense was hitting Mountain House from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal.
Tracy's win bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for St. Francis, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4-3 record this season.
