On Thursday, Tamaqua was able to grind out a solid victory over Pottsville, taking the game 44-33.
Kolbe Robb was the offensive standout of the match as she scored nine points along with ten steals and five assists. Lauren Ligenza was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Tri-Valley, who are still winless after their 14th game. They were dealt a 70-41 loss at the hands of Marian Catholic on Thursday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tri-Valley in their matchups with Marian Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.
Tamaqua's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Tri-Valley, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-14.
