Josh Johnson, Augusta E's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Friday. Johnson did his part (and then some), going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles for the 'W'. He is becoming a predictor of Augusta E's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Johnson and Augusta E will take on Providence Athletic Club at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time Johnson duked it out with Providence Athletic Club (back in April of 2024), Augusta E came out on top by a score of 6-1. Will another strong game from Johnson be enough to do it again?
