Glenrock is 2-8 against the Bulldogs since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Glenrock Herders will head out on the road to challenge the Wheatland Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Wyoming (Glenrock is ranked 46th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 29th).
Glenrock can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-52 victory over Moorcroft. The win was just what Glenrock needed coming off of a 70-36 loss in their prior contest.
Even though Wheatland has not done well against the Bison recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Wheatland escaped with a win against the Bison by the margin of a single free throw, 48-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wheatland.
Glenrock's record is now 5-7. Wheatland's record now sits at 9-7.
Glenrock couldn't quite finish off the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in March of 2023 and fell 34-31. Can Glenrock avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
