The Mount Union Trojans will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Mount Union focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Monday.
Mount Union suffered their closest loss yet this season on Monday. They fell just short of McConnellsburg by a score of 37-34.
Despite the loss, Mount Union got a solid performance out of Maddie Dimoff, who scored 13 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Patyn Crisswell, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Moshannon Valley made easy work of Curwensville on Friday and carried off a 46-26 victory.
Mount Union has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Moshannon Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
