Arlington put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They never let the Valley View Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 5-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Arlington is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Valley View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Arlington will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
