On Monday, Cristo Rey De La Salle suffered a rough 42-20 loss at the hands of Contra Costa Christian.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nelzy Domingez, who scored eight points.
Cristo Rey De La Salle's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Contra Costa Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cristo Rey De La Salle will take on Oakland Military Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Contra Costa Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Holy Names at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
