The Temescal Canyon Titans will venture away from home to take on the Pacifica Christian Tritons at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
While Temescal Canyon's victory against West Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 3-2 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Colby Nobel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Temescal Canyon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harrison McGarvey, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
Costa Mesa typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Pacifica Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 3-1.
Pacifica Christian also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and he was also dialed-in: Johnny Coopman gave up a run (which was unearned) on three hits.
At the plate, Pacifica Christian let Scout Escobedo and Blake Hayes run wild. Escobedo went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI, while Hayes went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Pacifica Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Costa Mesa only managed three.
Temescal Canyon's record is now 16-11. As for Pacifica Christian, their record now sits at 18-5-1.
Temescal Canyon was able to grind out a solid victory over Pacifica Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, winning 7-3. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tritons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
