The Fowler Redcats will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Fresno Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m.
After soaring to a 22-point win in their last game, Fowler came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of Sierra by a score of 52-50. It was the first time this season that Fowler let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Fresno Christian entered their tilt with the Hawks with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fresno Christian took down the Hawks 35-18 on Friday.
Marisol Martinez was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Fowler's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11. As for Fresno Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 9-17.
Fowler came up short against the Eagles when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 61-56. Can Fowler avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
