Baseball Recap: First Preparatory Christian Academy Takes a Loss

First Preparatory Christian Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 11-10.

Logan Brown was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

First Preparatory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, they moved to 9-11 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

First Preparatory Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coastal HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, they have already played their next game, a 7-2 defeat against John Milledge Academy on the 21st.
