Meanwhile, San Dieguito Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by La Costa Canyon on the road and fell 73-26. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss San Dieguito Academy has suffered yet this season.
Oceanside's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6. As for San Dieguito Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Oceanside against San Dieguito Academy in their previous meeting on January 9th as the team secured a 64-25 victory. With Oceanside ahead 40-7 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
