Priory has gone 9-1 against Westmoor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Priory Panthers will challenge the Westmoor Rams at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Priory was the clear victors by a 22-3 margin over Pinewood. The victory continues a trend for Priory in their matchups with Pinewood: they've now won three in a row.

Owen Lee made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 5-for-5 with seven RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those five hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Matthew Sun was a standout: he got on base in all six of his plate appearances with five runs, six RBI, and two stolen bases. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Kai Park was another key player, scoring five runs and stealing a base while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Westmoor, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. Everything went their way against San Francisco Waldorf on Tuesday as Westmoor made off with a 15-5 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by ten runs or more this season.
Like Priory, Westmoor also got a great game from a two-way player: Nathan Ho. On the mound, he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ho was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Matthew Cote, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Zhang, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Westmoor's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Priory, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Priory has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .536. However, it's not like Westmoor struggles in that department as they've averaged .517. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Priory was able to grind out a solid win over Westmoor when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 10-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for Priory since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
