The CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers will square off against the Abundant Life Christian Academy Lions at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. CrossPointe Christian Academy has given up an average of 12.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
Last Thursday, CrossPointe Christian Academy beat Peoples Baptist Academy 19-15. The  win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.
 Cooper Sexton made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   two  hits. That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Gaines Casey was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with four  runs, three  doubles,  and four  RBI.  Levi Patterson was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base.
 Meanwhile, Abundant Life Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  6-0 to Central Christian. The shutout was out of character for the Lions seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in February.
 The  victory  got CrossPointe Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Abundant Life Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
