Deer Lakes is on a three-game streak of home losses, Springdale a four-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change. The Deer Lakes Lancers will take on the Springdale Dynamos at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deer Lakes has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Deer Lakes fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Gateway on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Gators by a score of 46-44.
Meanwhile, Springdale had to suffer through a rough 61-15 loss at the hands of Riverview. While losing is never fun, Springdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 431st, while Riverview is ranked 181st).
Deer Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Springdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
