Joy has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in 16 consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  RBI (two).
 In other batting news,  Charlie Blaum was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Sam Beck, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
