It was another big night for Melanie Navarro, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Another player making a difference was Ava Ayon, who scored nine points along with three steals.
The win was the third in a row for Lindsay, bringing their record for this year to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Orange Cove, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay will face off against Strathmore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Strathmore is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. As for Orange Cove, they will head out on the road to take on Orosi at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orosi is on a three-game streak of home losses, Orange Cove a 16-game streak of away losses (dating back to last season), but someone's luck is about to change.
