Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lamar County walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Dodge County Indians with a sharp 12-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Trojans have won 15 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lamar County's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dodge County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13.

Lamar County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Thursday.
