The Westinghouse Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Brashear Bulls with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Westinghouse secured a 30-26 W over Brashear on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Westinghouse also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the defeat, Brashear had strong showings from Ariana Sherrill, who scored 11 points along with six steals, and Sa'Naja Hendley, who scored four points along with ten rebounds. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her.
Westinghouse's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Brashear, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westinghouse will take on Taylor Allderdice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brashear, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Nazareth Prep at 6:00 p.m.
