Leading Palmview to victory were Adrian Ibarra and Joe Gonzalez. Ibarra scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Gonzalez scored 20 points along with five assists. The matchup was Gonzalez's 24th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaziel Martinez, who scored six points.
Palmview's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Roma, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Palmview will head out on the road to face off against Juarez-Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roma, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Martin at 7:30 p.m.
