Moose Lake/Willow River extended the longest winning streak in Great Polar - White this week by beating Rush City, 61-20. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Marshall and Aitkin played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Marshall eventually emerging with a 28-27 victory.
Esko's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Marc Peterson threw for 150 and one touchdown and Aaron Olson had 85 yards receiving. On the ground Riley Mudek chipped in 124 yards. Ryan Holte helped Esko's passing attack out by catching two balls for 30 yards.
Esko's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eskomos feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Peterson has thrown for 610 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Holte has 12 catches for 170 yards. Mudek leads the league in rushing with 668 yards.
Moose Lake/Willow River led Great Polar - White in scoring this week after putting up 61 points on the Tigers.
