Tulelake lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gissell Hernandez, who scored four points. Another player making a difference was Alejandra Perez, who scored three points along with two blocks.
Butte Valley pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.73 points. As for Tulelake, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
Butte Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Surprise Valley at 5:00 p.m. As for Tulelake, they will head out on the road to challenge Hayfork at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
