Ambassador took a 20-run loss the last time they faced off against Animo Leadership, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Ambassador Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles on Tuesday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 22-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Ambassador's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Animo Leadership, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ambassador will face off against Shalhevet at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Animo Leadership, they will take on Rolling Hills Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Animo Leadership is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
