Charlie Goodwin made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Cooper Sikorski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Cherokee Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
